Winterpast Farm Continued

Winterpast Farm

We have visited this awesome farm today where the owner, Farmer Mary is the nicest person. She loves animals and children and shares her knowledge with the children and takes care of her animals. She has a llama, a pony, zillion bunnies, plenty of baby bunnies,-you can see my dad holding one of them-the piglets were born on Christmas day and we all got to hold them. Ok,I was less interested in them, I just wanted to touch their noses because they are so strange. I loved the emu and showed no fear at all from her, have seen her eight huge, green eggs she has laid. Super cool! There are also a gazillion type of chickens, ducks, roosters. We all loved the goat, who is pregnant and soon will have the baby goats. She followed us very close just like a dog, she was bottle fed as a baby and wants to be always with Farmer Mary. Oh, did I mention the sheep?
We will have to go back soon, I was not always with the program but on a working farm like this there are so many things to see and do.

Now and in 40 years again

Christmas Party at the Dobo Family

This is the second year that we are invited to the Dobo Family for the Christmas Party. Dobo Grandma is the most amazing cook and baker, her Dobos Cake is finger licking good! We played, drunk, ate and talked with our friends. Had a great time. Thank YOU for making us feel special!

Christmas Morning

We had an amazing Christmas, or wait almost. I got sick from the antibiotics I was on so from the late morning to the evening I was screaming by every diaper change which was about every half an hour.
The morning was fascinating and I was mesmerized by my new cho-cho table, bike, towel set, books, stamps, animals and really the whole day I was opening presents. Mom thinks it is super funny how much I loved the bows.
Thank you Santa Claus for my presents, I will be good next year too!

Christmas Eve

We had our friends over for dinner. Us, children we had a separate little table, it was part of my presents and the adults had a table too. Tatiana, Sandy, Bill, Alex, Daddy, Mom and me had a very nice , relaxing evening. I did tease Alex couple of times, just taking away some toys and run away, but nothing serious. We got to open one present each, and a bit more, but mainly we truly enjoyed being together. The night was perfect we all went to sleep with a big smile on our faces. :-)

X-mas eve dinner

Year to year we are developing our own family tradition for this holiday. Some of the food like: duck, poppy-seed and walnut bejgli and of course the Teli salami always have to be on the table. Now you can imagine the phone line is constantly busy because my mom is calling grandma about the "how to"-s. Here are some of the pictures:

X-mas ART with Lorent

Over the advent period we have created many art work to get into Christmas mood. The canvas work was very cool, we invited some our friends and we all worked together. The coolest thing that my parents can keep those for me for some years but when I will have my own place I can take them with me. I guess my hand and feet never will be the same small size again. :-)
The ginger man cookie with my hand print must have smelled awesome because Ocean, my dog stole and ate the entire thing with the string included. Of course, she made the most innocent face but the crumbs under the tree gave her away. (The next day she ate an other 3 of my creations, from the tree with the string. We are still waiting for the strings to come out though.)

Al Pacino alias Lorent

If you could see this picture about me on a real paper and not cyber you could decide for yourself if my mom is right or not. When she has seen this picture about me for the first time she said, I look like Al Pacino. Have you seen the movie: The Devil’s Advocate? With my deep, serious look I remind her that movie. I guess I have to wait some years because Elmo or Thomas never talk about that.

2010 vs 2011 Mikulas

This is amazing how much all the boys have grown within one year. Look at me, I was a baby last year, I just stood up last year at the Mikulas party and was walking on my own for the first time. Now, I am running everywhere, try to catch me!
This year I am best buddies with Santa and I love saying out loud his name: Santa Claus. What a huge change!

Hungarian Club Mikulas

Hull a pelyhes...

We are very lucky to belong to a community where everybody speaks my mother's mother tung, Hungarian. :-) Most of the people know me, bad or good, they were there when I was born and visited us at the begining but they have not seen me for a long time. I have grown a lot! When I was hanging out around Mikulas, Mr. Santa I just kept hearing : who is that cute boy in red, who is that sweet boy there? They were talking about me!
I had a great time with Mikulas and the children even with Krampus!
See you next year, I will be good!
