I usually play in our alleyway. This morning I decided to take some toys out front and play on the front steps. I'm shoveling mulch and cleaning my trucks. The hose is easier to get to up front, so this is why I want to play here.

Halloween Train

We went to the New Hope Train Halloween Trip. I went as a scary monster. Sort of.

Milk!

I'm allergic to milk (not lactose) some protein - but I still like the idea of milking a cow.

Linville Gem Mine

We went to the Gem Mine sluice in Linville, NC with a $10 bucket of dirt and got these colorful rocks. It was very cool.

Linville Falls

We broke into a National Park, went for a hike and ate lunch. I also took my first backwoods poop. I sat in a branch leaned onto a tree stump for a comfy seat. I didn't wipe with leaves, as Dad had wipes.

I learned the word camouflage and then told my dad that even this toy airplane is camouflage because it matches the sky.

At Beach

Last weekend, my cousin Christeen was sent off to college so we went down to see her dormitory.  Before that we went to the beach at Ft. Fisher and drove the truck on the beach, brought all our toys and food and had a good, safe and fun day.

Savannah

We drove to Florida to visit Mom's friend and spent one night in Savannah. We walked around when we got there, and the next morning. Here I check out the famous Waving Girl statue.

Do turtles like marshmellows?

We had some old mini marshmallows and instead of tossing them, we fed them to the pond turtles. Turns out, turtles are still hibernating in mud, but the fish likes 'em.

Don't Fall in Falls Lake!

We go to Falls Lake, which has several parks, and play. Here I run out on one of the floating docks at the boat ramp.
