It's 70 Degrees on Thanksgiving Sunday and Lorent is at the lake playing in the sand with his dump truck.

Train!

This was no "Thomas" train.... I rode the train from Cary to Raleigh,
here I am waiting to get picked up.

Thismorning I rode the train from Cary to Raleigh (10 minutes). It was
scary!

Art for Grandma

We do lots of "art" at home. I like to draw and paint with all the colors. These are the art pieces I was making for Grandma Annie, look for it in the mail Grandma! :-)))

Can I come in to play?

My neighbor, Jackson, has the coolest electric train set in his
garage .... All day today I have banged on the garage door to have
him let me come in and watch it go round and round. (shortly after
this picture was taken, his brother came out and let me in to see the
train!!)

New Highway Construction

The 540 Highway is being extended and we went to check it out before the road opens to cars. Here are some images.

Bucket Truck!

A Progress Energy Bucket Truck came in our alley to change light bulbs
and sensors. The worker got in the bucket, extended the arm, went up
35 feet in the air, changed the equipment in a matter of minutes! I
watched the whole thing from start to finish !!

Amtrak Train - Choo Choo!

This morning Apu and I went down to the Raleigh train station to watch the train come and go. We were a few minutes late, but it worked out fine, as the train was late too. I really like as it comes in there is a bell ringing and the Choo Choo of the whistle. Where we were standing waiting it was the Cafe car and conductor car - so they were unloading garbage bags and some train conductors were coming off, which was cool to watch. I wanted to get on the train and kept asking by saying "Up, up!". I want to go for a ride even it is to Cary or Durham, the next stop on the train.

Dinner with Rosie and Cleaning House

Rosie and I are having dinner. Our moms have ordered pizza and we are eating and watching Dora on TV. We are very cute together. :-)



We came home and I think I need to clean house, so I started right away.

Garbage truck

My great grandfather used to tell my mom growing up if she does not study well she will end up as a garbage truck person. Here in the US it is not a bad job but in Hungary it is a very low payed one, so my mom took that advise and studied. Most importantly, since I was born every Wednesday I am taken out and showed the garbage truck and repeated the same sentence:
" Lorent, if you don't study, you will be a garbage truck person!"
I think, it is pretty cool, I already have my own garbage truck so I am ready to do my own garbage truck company and the fascination you can see on my face. :-) I bet Mom did not think that way!

New park on Strickland

We went to this brand new park on Strickland. It is nothing special now, even the mud is still everywhere but in the summer it will be nice because it is surrounded by lots of trees. When it will be 100 degrees it will provide us nice shades.
I took my dump truck with me, or how I say it "dup tack" and I was going up and down on the hills with it.

Playnation

My friend, Kathelyn invited us to Playnation. What a great place! It is inside, so no matter how the weather is I can play. Up and down on all of the equipment, and then slide down again.
We met some of the other little friends of mine that I know from Gymboree. It was very exciting to see Body and Mady, they are some month older then I , so I can learn a lot from them.
Let's do this again!

Dinner with Alex

After a great nap I was in an excellent mood. My parents don't understand how is it possible that many times no matter what they do I am just not happy. Today, it is different, it is easy to make me happy, so they are happy too.
We went over visiting my best friend, Alex. He has the Geo Trains and we both love to play with trains.He has a dog too, Koko. I let her give me kisses and we were running, playing with everything, jumping on the couch up and down. Many times we are on the same schedule, we both had a late nap so we both had a late dinner. Alex has his own table in the middle of their kitchen and his parents eat there with him. What cool parents they are! We had a nice dinner together and definitely laughed a lot. Thanks for having us over!

My friend, Zsozso's third birthday

Today we got to celebrate my friend, Zsozso's third birthday. He knows me since I was born and my parents know him since he was born. He is such a kind, good boy, I feel really fortunate to have such a good person as a friend. We went to this awesome park, the sun was shining, kind of celebrating his birthday too. His mom, Juci made the best cake, it reminds my mom to her own childhood. We played a lot, kicked the ball and just enjoyed being together.

Lorent Moment

This morning I am reading some Hungarian book for Lorent with all the animals, then some more with Weoros Sandor little rhymes sometimes singing sometimes just strongly pronouncing the words. After a good 10 minutes Lorent runs out, I can hear his little foot steps and returns with my book:Hotel on the corner of bitter and sweet in his hand and gives me the book with the look on his face: read this now! Silently!
Yes, our reading section was over. :-)

Lorent Moment

Usually in the mornings we read some books in Lorent's room. Yesterday I am asking Lorent which book he would like to read. So he turned the farm book over, pointed to the picture on the back and said: KAKAS---meaning ROOSTER. Which it was! We just had such a heureka moment, after million "kukurikus---ckockodoodeloos" finally he has said the name of the animal. So, in this big happy moment we were kukuriku-ing a bit more. :-)

The same morning but now in the living room we read a picture book. On the page there was a pear, an apple, an orange and orange juice in a cup. All of a sudden he lifted his cup and connected the two that he had juice in his cup and there was juice on the picture, he said : "Jeeeee-Yeeee"
The light bulb just went on!

Halloween 2011----CLICK ON PHOTO

By the time Halloween came along we were bored with my original costume, the little conductor. This month was the Halloween extravaganza with all the activities. I think, I have been on more Halloween parties then my mom in the past 12 years all together and that is something! The weather was not cooperating, it was pouring rain, we had to stay inside. Luckily, many of my friends came over, we wanted to go together "trick or treat"-ing but that was cancelled. So, we stayed inside and played. (I was not really in my element, my parents do not know what is wrong so today they are taking me to the doctor.)
