Concert on the green

Recently I love to dance. It had started with the Gymboree music class, then with the awesome guitar music of Ewan Dobson and now really everything with a beat.
For the labor day weekend a band came into our neighborhood to give a concert and keep us free of labor, we met up with Rosie to have a good time and I danced alone, danced with June, danced on the stage with all the other children. Of course, I had to had my binky too!

Naptime at achool

Usually I have a bedsheet and blanket, today I was too tired to wait
for that!

Laurel Hills Park

Sandy found this park, it is so different from all the other parks where we have been that first I was not able to do anything with it. I was just standing and looking but Alex, being a pro park visiter showed me the ropes. There is even a little lake there and how I was peeking out from the trail, it started to rain, we will be back soon.
Look, how many sticks Alex had gathered.

Before school

Once in every blue moon, I am waking up at 7:00am and I am in an extremely great mood. No fussing, or just a bit that my parents would know it is still me :-), lots of smiles, my newest thing: the loud roars and giggles all around the house. I am going to school today, mom thought I look cute, she just wants to remember this morning.

The artist in me

My parents did a little make over on one of the kitchen walls. From the outside nothing has changed, same color as before, but under it there are four layers of magnetic paint. This way we can see all of my creations, drawings and paintings from recent times. Some of the old photos from my parents history found their spot there so they can tell me how they met, where they have traveled. Even my cousin, Christeen's magnetic painting is on our wall now. More are coming for sure...

Turo Rudi

Turo Rudi is a chocolate flavored dessert with organic curd cheese, all the Hungarian children grow up with it. My mom got her hand on an entire box, 35 pieces from a women who bought 16.500 pieces in the hope of making quick and good money on it. She did not calculate on marketing and introducing a product on a brand new market but what was unfortunate for her was my luck. Now we have enough for couple of weeks and mom's words were truly true, my life will not be the same again. :-) I think you can see the admiration on my face. Now, Turo Rudi and I are best friends.

My friend: Rosie

I know more boys then girls. Rosie is one of the few girls that I like to hang out with. She is cool, loves to climb and very even tempered, not fussing when I push her a bit. Here we are just sitting like an old couple. Who knows, maybe one day...

Horseback riding---CLICK on the photo for more pictures and video

Clicking on the photo all the other pictures will come in and the last five are videos.

Our friend, Jutka has a beautiful horse. It turns out that I love to touch, feel and ride horses and she invited all of us, Hungarian "huszars" to go and ride her horse. It was a warm afternoon, before the hurricane, lots of dirts, excavators, tractors, pogacsa and juice. Everything was given for a perfect afternoon, we all had a marvelous time.

Thanks for having us!

City of Oaks

Raleigh is known as the City of Oaks, and there is a lot of debris on
the ground from Hurricane Irene. Here I am playing in a fountian with
debris, as dad holds an oak leaf+acorn branch.

Small Craft Warnings

Despite the Mariners Advisories, Lorent wants to go boating ... This
Mall merry-go-round version will have to do!

Inspecting for damage

Irene Huuricane is now ashore and we are getting "bands" of wind and
rain. I'm out ensuring everything is AOK!

The Weather

Today, we have had really humid and hot weather - very 'tropical' kind
of feeling - much more than the usual August Carolina heat- the image
shows why. (The outer cloud bands with no rain are touch home!)

Irene!

It looks like Irene is coming for a visit! Maybe Aunt Carolyn and Cousin Christeen will stay with us as it passes Wilmington!

Today we had an earthquake and I slept through the entire thing!

Bulldozer!

I've saved up my allowance and I've bought a bulldozer!

Here I am inspecting the bucket/blade. I considered a wheeled "front end loader" but the price was right on this traditional tracked version.

Happy 3rd Birthday Peti!

Peti has turned 3 years old! I hardly can believe it but I have to because I just have eaten from his cake, sang his happy birthday song and got wet from all the rain while we were celebrating my friend. The Hillridge Farm is an amazing place where you can ride the tsu-tsu train, see lots of animals and run, run run around.

Happy Birthday my friend!

Jackson and I went to Marbles

Before school has started again, Jackson and I went to Marbles, to the Kid's Museum. It is a very fun place, we had a blast.

The six Hungarian hulligans :-)

Juci and Tibor did cook an awesome summer brunch and invited all of us over. We played, laughed, talked and enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks for having us!

18 month appointment

We had our 18 month appointment at the doctor weeks ago. I thought it would be important to remember how much I have grown.
My weight: 27 pounds (12 kg ) --they weighted me the adult way, standing up full clothing
Belonging to 60%
My height: 33 and 1/2 inches (85 cm) --I was measured standing up, no more baby way :-)
Belonging to 80%

I got the hepatitis A vaccine and I was very brave, did not cry at all!

Developmentally I am doing great, physically I am doing wonderful. The two areas where I can do better is sleeping, I have to sleep through the night ( according to mom) and the fussiness (according to mom: she can't take it any more). In the next couple of month I will focus on these two because I would like to give these two gifts to my parents, making specially mom very happy.

At the mall...

It's humid and hot, we went to the mall playground. Look at the goofy
parents in the background updating their facebook page while thier kid
gets beat up by some mall rat.

Backyard fun!

This is what we do on hot Sunday mornings!

Funny!

Today after the usual pool time we came home with daddy and in the last couple of days he is trying to show me that if I have to do my thing then I need to go to the WC. So, after I was showed to the WC I did what they expected from me and my parents were very happy. They have clapped and cheered for me. Then I went out picked up one of my newest books : The Ships and Submarines and went back to the WC and set down. When they have seen this they really laughed and clapped for me. I do not understand what is the big deal, this is what they do too. :-)))

Have the moves :-)

I really do love dancing.....

Lorent is dancing to Ewan Dobson

He is one of the most famous guitar player and I think I have the perfect moves for his music. I guess Ms. Joy's music lessons on Tuesday afternoon helped me find my movements. :-)

Sipping a smoothie with mom

Mom just loves this picture about the two of us. On a hot summer night sipping a banana-mango smoothie. Not bad!
