Everybody knows the game, Simon says. In my case what ever mom says I have to follow :-) or not --- but, in this case, if she says that today was a perfect day, I will just second thata
When I woke up at 6:00am I did not feel the urge to cry, I just have stayed in my crib and was talking up a storm. My milk/formula combination was tasty and my stomach has tolerated it, not like the previous day when I have thrown up from it. We started the day with lots of playing and after the real breakfast we went to the library for the Story time for Toddlers. I was running around and mom was chasing me, I have no idea how the other children managed to sit there, in their mom's lap and not move around. We were singing and dancing and the librarian was reading a book about body parts. Hopefully soon, I will know the difference between "head, shoulder, knee and toe."
I was ready to take my nap and during that one hour I was not even dreaming, I was just deep asleep.
I have met a new friend today, her name is Ava. She is also one year old and lives in my neighborhood. We were playing outside on the green, the sun was shining on us and the little wind felt great on my skin. Even Tatiana (my BFF) came by with two of the triplets to meet us. So, actually now that I am thinking about it, I made three new friends. I truly enjoy meeting new children, and play with them. I know this is unusual but this is me. :-)
When I was forced to take a second nap, I was trying to show mom who is the boss in the house and cried for a good half an hour but even that did not ruin the day. I gave up and slept a little and was waiting for my play date. Katelyn visited us with her mom and for the next two hours all for of us had a grand old time.
When my dad came home from work I showed up my newest talent, giving real kisses when asked. They seemed to be delighted from it.
Why was this day different then the others? I guess, I forgot to fuss and it just made everything easier . If I only could repeat this tomorrow and after and after , I guess my mom would let me be the "Simon" sometimes.
