This week we have been and are sick again. I could not tell exactly how many times we have been sick this winter but I am sure more then 10 times. There is hardly any days that all of us, including Ocean would be ok. Usually, it starts with me. I have a runny nose, cough, ear ache...something , then I get better and mom gets it. Then by the time she is OK, then either I got ii back or dad gets it. Believe me, it is absolutely no fun. I recently have started the Waddler 3 group in my day care. Since then, I have stayed more home then I have been able to go.
That is why mom was a bit down this week until she read two reminders, that she wants me to remember:
"When a thing plagues you so and you done all you can, the outcome is no longer up to you. Sometimes the best thing you can do is take your hands off, just let it go, let it go."
----From the book of Tumbling by Diane Whetstone---
" Be on the guard against the pit of self-pity. When you are weary or unwell, this trap is the greatest danger you face.Don't even go near the edge of the pit. There are several ways to protect yourself from self-pity. when you are occupied with praising and thanking me, it is impossible to feel sorry for yourself."
-----From the book of Jesus Calling by Sarah Young---
When mom needs courage, she thinks about her mom and mom in-low, they are the two bravest women she knows. I want to get to know them better, that I can understand what mom talks about.
