Funny!

Today after the usual pool time we came home with daddy and in the last couple of days he is trying to show me that if I have to do my thing then I need to go to the WC. So, after I was showed to the WC I did what they expected from me and my parents were very happy. They have clapped and cheered for me. Then I went out picked up one of my newest books : The Ships and Submarines and went back to the WC and set down. When they have seen this they really laughed and clapped for me. I do not understand what is the big deal, this is what they do too. :-)))

Have the moves :-)

I really do love dancing.....

Lorent is dancing to Ewan Dobson

He is one of the most famous guitar player and I think I have the perfect moves for his music. I guess Ms. Joy's music lessons on Tuesday afternoon helped me find my movements. :-)

Master of the disaster

Daddy calls me the master of the disaster. I do not understand why. Maybe if you look at the pictures you will get an idea. I just know that I wanted to go to the top. That's it, easy.

At the lake

You can tell we are related, even our posture is the same. :-)

Ocean could not take the heat either.

Bannanas!

I'm eating a bannana like an ice cream cone! Istvan (Dad of twins in Florida) tought me that the monkeys peel from the bottom and hold from the stem... So I am doing that!

My Cousin: Christeen

I got to spend this super hot weekend with my cousin Christeen. She was the very first person from my family- after dad and mom -to hold me, so I have a special place for her in my heart. The temperature was every day above 100, we played a lot inside and of course some with the water. Here is a short clip how I am refreshing them in this heat. :-)

Bedfordboys

Today in the 100 F early at 10am we decided to take a plunge in an old bathtub. So, we went for a photo shoot with Ms. Becky . (http://rebeccakellerphotography.wordpress.com)

She is a very talented photographer, full with great ideas and believe me patient because with me you have to be. She waited for a long time to be able to take that one second shoot where I am standing by the tub.

Maybe, I will play hockey just like my cousins....why not?

Drawing is great!

Jumping and swimming at the pool

Chucky Cheese

Finally my parents took me to a "highly intelligent" :-) place for dinner. It was different but, we had fun and all the mice loved my driving ability. Get out my way!

Daddy being silly

Daddy was bored over the weekend so he hung some of my outside toys on the tree. Could somebody help me to find my favorite blue shovel, please? I want to dig a hole to China and sing the "Shake, shake , shake my silly's out" song.....or wait maybe daddy should sing that song.

First Cone!

Today I ate my first ice cream cone - all by myself, with no help!

It was kind of a celebration for me, as when I woke up this morning, I
climbed out of the crib and fell on my head/hip/shoulder^. Now mom
and dad have to figure out what's next with me.... I'm growing up!

^no visible damage, but I think dad is buying an MRI machine and
putting one in the garage....

This week it was 100 F

Lorent's first drawings

Since yesterday Lorent just wanted to draw. He was pointing to paper and pencils, sat down at every corner of the house and just drew. Drew and drew and drew. He repositioned himself, sat down and drew. So, today I knew it is time for assembling the drawing table and create this little Maestro his creative area. Here is the very first video how focused, full of purpose and ADORABLE he was.Oh, it took a whole 30 minutes, which is a lot for him!

It is hot oustide!

At my school, we have a gym, when it's hot or cold, we play in here.
Not many daycare places have this! Only the best for me!

Here I am (with 8 others friends outside the picture) playing Calvin
Ball. Fans of the comic "Calvin & Hobbes" know the rules to this game.
In my family, my Dad and I know the rules, but Mom is still learning
them!

Top 10 of Boston---CLICK on the photo for videos and more pictures

1. Spend time in a big city with all the excitement it has to offer, restaurants, coffees, parks and all the programs. Never a dull moment!
2. See Lorent's face while traveling on public transportation, on the subway. See his curiosity, priceless.
3. Spending time with our friends, Aliz, Peter and Marci. We go way back to Aspen!
4. Enjoying their house and everything with the beautiful big garden and fruit trees. Peter gave us a jar from his own honey and couple of the plum jams. Yummy!!!
5. The entire magical day in York, Maine. That town is awesome with the zoo, the rides, the restaurants and the ocean. Everything in walking distance.
6. Marci and Lorent playing dirt together in the back yard. They got so dirty that we had to hose them off and give them a bath at 11, in the morning! :-)
7. The amazing dinner and lunch that Peter cooked for us. Theo ate twice from the chicken paprikash and oh yes, it had onions in them!!!
8. The Swan Boat ride in Public Garden, beautiful day with perfect weather and perfect company.
9. To see my friend's, Aliz Master's degree on paper. I am so entirely proud of her. She did it while working, having a child and do everything for the family too. How inspiring!
10. Having friends like the Kekedi family and seeing our sons together playing, happy and healthy and picking up like the last time would not have been two years ago. Yes, that is friendship! Thank YOU for that! We had a wonderful time.

Superman in the morning

Here I am in the morning with Dad's PJ's as a cape, just after
breakfast. Mom likes my hair as it is, Dad thinks it's time for a
trim! "#1 on the sides, scissors finger length on the top".

Connecting...

There is nothing, NOTHING that feels better then Lorent's little, warm hands around my neck. He sees me from the living room and comes running, running with his not so tiny, size 6 and 1/2 , sausage (how grandma calls them-"cafalade labaival"-) thumping feet on the long corridor, positioning his hands back that he can jump quicker into my arms. Then he closes his arms around my neck and leans into my upper body keeping his face close to my face. Meanwhile he is laughing and giggling and my arms are closed around his body and there, right there, is a second of peace that I would not change for anything. That connection is the highest possible closeness with an other person.

How we are going about our day daily, the little connections are making or breaking our day.
My long time friend, Julia and I had a nice Skype chat the other day finally after 6 month of constant canceling because there was always something more urgent. The laugh that we had carries me on an other couple of month, thanks for that.
My great friend, Bogi who always writes in the right time, picking me up when I need it, always thinking of us and giving me great advice on practically everything - because I need it. To read her letter and thinking that we matter to her makes me always smile.
My Mom-In law, Anne but I call her Annie :-) letting us know that she is well enough to check out one major point on her bucket list : visiting England and Scotland makes me feel proud of her and makes me stronger because that is how I want to be when I am 76 years old. I am so very proud of her!
A letter, from a lost friend, Lenka who writes about her colorful life and wants to know what is new here. She has no idea about Lorent yet, I have to tell her all about him.
My friend, Becky who came over today with her little son and just hung out with us, we were catching up on the recent weeks because our childrens' schedule has changed and we do not get to see each other as often as we would like.

These are the connections that I want to pass on to Lorent, these are the important things. Lorent is a single child and has no other siblings. It is our -his father and I-responsibility that we teach him, that connecting is the best thing ever.

Beach!

Mom can't take the heat, so dad and I hit the beach. We have the
cooler, digging toys, shade tent, sunscreen, animal crackers and
perfect weather. As it turned out, mom joined us and helped show me
how to safely stand in the surf as the waves came over my toes.

Duck Donuts

This is a local hot spot at the beach. I'm in deep concentration
considering Glazed, Cinnamin, Powdered Sugar, Chocolate, or some
custom variation.

Catching fish...

I'm catching fish in Kitty Hawk, NC - well, at a kids playhouse...
